Appearance
About five foot ten, of average build, with short sandy brown hair and a five o’clock shadow. He wore plain dark wool clothes under a large grey wool coat, with no armor beneath it.1 Under the coat he carried a hand crossbow, a shortsword and a pouch on his belt, but no badge or seal.1
Personality
Pell kept to his story through a slap, manacles, the threat of a kick from a horse and a cat on his head.1 Magic frightened him: once Rhysaene cast a spell on him, he feared for his life and told them everything.1 He carried weapons, he said, to handle himself if he got into trouble.1

Pell followed the party through the side streets of Argentum on 7 Nightdeep, 1714 PSF. When Hazel shouted at him, he ran.1 He dodged a punch from a man he knocked a crate from, and lost the party for a while, but Iva caught him and put mage manacles on him.1 He threatened to call for the guards but did not.1
In an alley he told them first that he had only been curious about a strange-looking group, and said he had never heard of anyone called Daisy.1 After Rhysaene cast mind sliver on him, he said a woman with a daisy tattooed on her face, whose name he did not know, had paid him ten crowns to keep tabs on them, with five more for every day and fifty when the job was done.1 He was to meet her late on the 10th of Nightdeep, in an alley straight south of the Canal Markets, near the wall.1 Asked what it would take for him to leave them alone, he asked for ten crowns. Rhysaene paid him about seven, and he bolted south as soon as Iva unlocked the manacles.1
