Session 19 covered 9 Nightdeep, 1714 PSF, in Argentum. Buying breakfast at the Canal Markets, Temerity met Miri Wetherlite, and carried a note from her to Rhysaene. Iva found a second route the Order of the Lantern's guarded carriages take between the city's barracks, and Rhysaene left her painting Burning Fields for sale at the Footlight Theater. That evening the party went to the Canal Markets' night market to see Miri. There they were drawn into a feud between two of its merchants, Kusa Xungoon and Lamai Tyenmo, each sure the other was sabotaging her stall.

The Footlight Theater is the largest theater in Argentum, and the city's Synod-sponsored center for the performing arts. Argentum has a couple of little theaters in the Hearth Wall, but the Footlight is the one that gets the funding. It stands in the Lantern Wards, across the Turnstone Bridge from Rhysaene's apartment and 940 feet from it. Much of its money is public funding from the Synod, but it is owned by House Draken. The Candlelight Players perform there.
