Donella Daergel

Donella Daergel is a gnome woman, the stage manager of the Candlelight Players at the Footlight Theater in Argentum.¹ Rhysaene knows her very well.¹

Personality

Donella does not stand still. During preparations she darts all over backstage giving orders: move that there, close the curtain a little more for the third transition, make sure the blocking marks are in place.¹ She does not like people going through the props, in case they break something.¹ When Cassius Vane welcomed the party to wait in the audience, she glared at him, told them not to touch anything without permission or go into the prop room, and said she would have anyone she saw on her stage dragged out.¹

Biography

Session 17

When Luma tried the prop room door on 7 Nightdeep, 1714 PSF, Donella turned toward it in unison with Sera Siannodel: “Members of the public are not permitted in the prop room.” She ran to the door with her key, and she and Sera pounded on it together until Rhysaene overrode the compulsion on them.¹ Luma then knocked from inside, saying the door was stuck, and Donella opened it. Luma said she had wanted a sword to join in the fun.¹
